The Paddlesport Instructor qualification is the first step on the instructor / leading ladder and is designed for instructors who will be delivering paddlesport taster and beginners sessions within a club or centre.
The qualification will teach instructors core practical skills such as kitting up a group, basic craft familiarisation skills, and plenty of games. The award also covers skills to facilitate mini journeys for adventurous groups.
The award is not discipline-specific and you will learn to paddle a range of craft and how to introduce others to canoeing, kayaking and SUP on very sheltered water.
