Improve your personal climbing skills

If you’ve already begun your outdoor climbing journey, you will have realised that strength is secondary to technique. Even the fittest climbers will soon fall behind without the proper skills needed to climb harder routes. While we always make sure to share best practices with our students, this course is a masterclass that hones in specifically on technique.

In this course we will look more closely at hand and foot placements, body positioning, climbing movement and progressive training ideas. The course also includes such things as improved rope management, route grades, the history and etiquette of climbing, bouldering problems and how to protect a climber using spotting techniques.

During the session, our experienced climbing instructors will also cover effective warm ups, stretching for climbing, cool downs, injury avoidance, training ideas, and will provide specific climbing tuition tailored to your needs.

If you’re looking to zoom in on this critical element of rock climbing and get your foundations absolutely rock solid, this course is for you.
